SEESHA TAKAGISHI

Seesha Takagishi lives and works in San Francisco, CA and was the 2023 recipient of the APICC USAAF grant. Takagishi is the founder of the Family Style Collective, an Asian American arts collective focused on using creative expression to explore cultural identity. She has exhibited in the solo exhibition "Handle with Care" at Faris Jewelry in Seattle, WA. Her group exhibitions include "Family Style" at Medicine for Nightmares in San Francisco, "Shoes Off" at the Faight Collective in San Francisco, "Shed Light" at the Yucci Outlet in San Francisco, and "Change in Color" at Make Westing in Oakland, CA.

She is currently an artist in residence at Arts Itoya in Takeo, Japan, and is working on paintings for "The Birthday of Otherness", a duo show on siblinghood at Medicine for Nightmares in San Francisco in August 2024.
