LADY HENZE

Color is intrinsic to my practice, and I figure out the colorway before I ever touch the panel. It often begins with a singular color I really want to use, and then I build from there. I simply lay out the spray cans in a row and add, subtract, and rearrange as needed.

All of my work is titled with song names. It offers a little peek into my mindset while painting, and the vibe I think a painting brings. Because I work in abstracts, these are often the words I choose to describe the art.
